Turalba Brahman Stud was established in 1994 by Bill Reddie and Laura Wallace and is situated on the Peninsula Developmental Road 15km from Lakeland or 200km north of Mareeba.
We run both red and grey stud herds with a fair percentage being polled. Foundation females were from Crocodile, Helensvale and Burnside studs with a later infusion of 23 Kenrol heifers.
Early sires used were mainly from Helensvale, and a little later we purchased Balmoral sires. Currently in use are sires from Brahrock, Lanes Creek, NCC, Charwalla, Palmvale and Elansu
We strive to breed structurally sound cattle of good temperament suited to the northern commercial beef producer.
Turalba also operates a commercial herd.
