The Fig Tree Brahman Stud specialises in grey polled brahmans, and as we are a modestly sized stud we can target the temperment of all our stud stock.

Fig Tree Brahmans are situated on the Atherton Tableland at rural number 235 Turner Road, Tarzali.

The majority of our herd is founded on poll genetics, and "Brahrock Blatant 3956" our new sire has an excellent poll pedigree to enhance our breeeding program.

Our polled females have been accessed from Myrtledate, Gi and Glengarry stud and are of very sound structure. we have also bred our own heifers who are now starting to produce. these have been sired by Carinja 334, Figtree Horatio, and Gi diplomat who are all polled bulls with JDH bloodlines

We breed for terperment which in turn makes for very quiet calves who are naturally inquisitive and friendly in the paddock.

2009 saw us enter some bulls and heifers at the local shows and we were pleased to be very competitive despite our small breeding program. we intend to continue displaying our stock in the coming year, so keep your eyes open for our display.
