BENDAMORE was founded in 1988 by Mark and Oriente Maggiolo, 16 klms south of Innisfail.

The stud began simply with several cows from Birrahlee, Kenrol, and Tyagarah studs, then later on bought cows from Burnside, Brahmleigh and Avondale.

Our aim has always been to breed bulls for the bullock breeder by producing functional cattle with good bone and temperament and females with functional udders.

Bendamore Brahman genetics have been sourced from local and imported bulls including TC Trail Blazer, Tartrus, Redmount Red neck(imp usa), Lancefield Sam Carlos, Gaucho plus many more.

Sires in use at the moment are Huonfels Rafael 647 and Bendamore Rembrandt 675 with Roseborough Leo recently retired.

Bendamore Brahmans has produced some exceptional females over the years winning supreme exhibit at Cairns Show 2003 with Bendamore Estelle, and with Bendamore Natalie winning supreme exhibit in Cairns and Mareeba during 2006, just to name a few.

Our home bred bulls also did very well in the show ring with Bendamore Jackson winning supreme exhibit at Malanda and Townsville, and placing in Rockhampton. In addition, Bendamore Overdrive and Othello won many broad ribbons.

We currently have many younger bulls and some heifers for sale. Inspections are always welcome.
